	What happens before your wedding .... ?
			Your most recent weddings

Once you are convinced after our meeting that you would like me to be your official wedding photographer, I need a booking fee to secure your date. I attend just one wedding on your date, so there's nothing to worry about. I also DON'T sub-contract my weddings to other photographers. When you book me, it's Dirk van der Werff who will share your day!

If for reasons of guest numbers, or multiple locations, I feel the need for two photographers, then I will let you know the additional cost. The photographer will be a professional, originally trained by me and who has their own business as a wedding photographer, so I can trust them, and so can you. This will be a rare occurance, as I prefer to work on my own with no assistant as I can blend in better with your guests and liase with you personally.
Once I'm booked to cover your wedding, please feel free to ask me questions about ANYTHING to do with your wedding. After all, I have been to more weddings than most people and can advise on all sorts of options and scenarios - happy to help!
Choosing a photographer and deciding on a budget to set aside is difficult, but if you want a full time professional photographer, with high quality images, great customer service and with whom you can build a relationship to feel comfortable on the day then choose wisely.
My creative fees start at £950.00 but this also includes all the meetings beforehand, great customer service, all the post production and image editing, plus a password protected website, a presentation box full of all your final edited proof print, hard-copy images (up to 500) professionally printed which you keep, and also a CD with all the same edited images on that comes with your wedding book.

WHAT NEXT? Well, I'm available at the end of a phone or an e-mail at any time from the moment you book me as your wedding photographer. You may want some advice, you may want lots of advice .. or you may have seen a wedding cake or a dress on my BLOG or website and want to know where to souyrce it from. No problem, I keep in touch with many of my previous brides and grooms and would be happy to make the enquiry for you, if I don't already know the answer to the question.

Many of my brides keep in touch with recent weddings and up and coming events through my Facebook page, or my BLOG - often brides-to-be become my 'friend' on Facebook before I even meet with them, sothat when we finally meet tochat about your wedding, we feel as though we know each other already!

About six, eight, ten weeks before tyour wedding, it's nice to meet up again. Often you have forgotten what I look like if you have booked me two years previously, so it's good to have a coffee, have a chat about your wedding and take some photographs on our pre-wedding portrait shoot. It means that when we come to your big wedding date, we're not strangers, there are no surprises and we all have a great chilled out day celebrating the biggest day of your life.
