CONGRATULATIONS You have just found the wedding photographer of your dreams! When Andy and I set our wedding date we viewed a few wedding photographer's websites and checking out images andalso met with a few wedding photographers. Dirk was the first wedding photographer we met and after that no one lived up to him! His warm, friendly and funny personality won us over; he is an absolute star! We knew from the start what we wanted from our wedding day and that was fun and laughs, we wanted informal wedding photographs to capture the excitement and fun our guests were having and not just to have posed photos of the Bride and Groom and close family. We have all been to weddings where the Bride and Groom are hijacked by the photographer and they don’t actually get to enjoy chatting to guests and mingling, and of course the guests get bored waiting around while photo after photo is taken. We both wanted every part of the day to be photographed creatively and professionally rather than having disposable cameras on tables so we booked Dirk for extra hours and although he shared our day with us for 10 hours you hardly knew he was there yet there are over 300 final edited wedding photographs to prove he was, from the church to our first dance. He mingled well with all guests even taking part in the quiz my Dad had set and trying to find single men at the other wedding for my bridesmaids! Dirk did everything we asked him to on the day and took photos of our guests having fun, enjoying the drinks, playing football and of course enjoying the bouncy castle and Chocolate fountain. Dirk really was a big part of our day and it was a pleasure having him there. The pictures he has taken are beautiful and are a great reminder of our day. We would not hesitate in recommending him to any friends or family. He is a star and will really make your day extra special. As Dirk’s website says “Good photography is an investment and not a cost” and you should definitely invest in Dirk.
