PR newsletter January 2007

WOW!!
What a busy end to 2006 and a flying start in 2007.
In what are traditionally quieter times on the PR photography front, we were kept busy in all five county / areas of Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham, Cleveland / Teesside / North Yorkshire with some really interesting commissions.
Yorkshire Bank, NatWest Bank, HBOS Bank and RBS kept us on our toes with comissions in Newcastle, Whitley Bay, Morpeth, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough , The Dales and even Whitby as they all upped the ante on PR in these parts!

The B-Me project working with refugees and other minority teenagers in Middleabrough and Redcar received a £10,000.00 grant and produced a just fantasitic fashion show with disadvantaged teenagers who never woulod be seen dead on a catwalk - a real highlight.

We completed more commissions in London with a company that landscapes the gardens of magnificent houses where another company has created new cellars - the big new thing in London -and this coiupled with our annual work at Chelsea Flower Show should really reap dividends.

Dirk enjoyed himself photographing Snow Patrol and Kasabian towards the end of the year for a music photography agency while Dawn was busy with Corus / Shell on a new development.

Reportage weddings came like a flurry of snow throughout the last months of the year and we had a ball!

We worked with Jonny Wilkinson and the NSPCC for whom he is an Ambassador now, and for the Housing Corporation in York where they built a house in the car park at the National Railway Museum in just 3 hours!

Our photobooks are proving to be a great move with clients snapping them up from events across the north east as they try to impress clients / sponsors / and award winners - and they work every time, contact us if you want to see samples! We completed some great model shoots with an up and coming presenter and TV star, Christina at the Jesmond Dene Hotel and Linden Hall in Northumberland, while Dunelm Homes and Thornton Media representing Conran came on board the Aquilega Photographic ship early in the new Year! Real magazine and Cosmopolitan m,agazine commissioned features too which was nice and Ian Botham and Marks & Spencer worked together to raise money for Leukemia once more.
